Opening in November 2026, the Elephant Exchange will create a new foodie and social hub at Elephant & Castle.  As the area transforms through major redevelopment, the neighbourhood needs a place that brings people together, one that reflects the area’s diversity and creativity. 

The Elephant Exchange will deliver just that. Set in the heart of the new town centre, Elephant Exchange will offer a curated selection of 14 independent kitchens, a bar, a coffee shop, a kids’ play area, and more. Each of our Food Partners will serve their own twist on global street food, comfort classics, sweet treats, and next-level drinks. Whether you’re planning a casual bite, cocktails with friends, or trying something new, this will be the place to do it.

Expect a lively, welcoming space for residents, students, and visitors, all-day activation from morning coffee to late-night dining, and an array of events, pop-ups, themed nights, foodie collabs, and plenty more. Follow your nose, or your curiosity! Both will lead somewhere delicious.
